Calgary Cycle started as a mom and pop shop in 1931. The shop built a reputation for customer service and through the years became a large dealer of 10 speeds. In the late 80’s Calgary Cycle’s focus began to move towards the growing mountain bike segment due to our close proximity to the Rocky Mountains and all the world class riding. By the mid 90’s the store was becoming well known in the region for high end custom mountain bikes.
Our reputation for providing the best in customer service continues today. With Santa Cruz, Trek, IBIS, Yeti, Intense, Gary Fisher, Transition, Devenci in our arsenal we have become one of the region’s largest custom bike dealers. We have fine tuned our inventory over the years to meet the needs of the most exacting consumer and as such our product lines have shifted to the more high end lines. We feel lucky to be able to play with such nice product on a daily basis.
We do our best to grow the sport responsibly through race teams and group rides, hoping to get more people involved in the sport that we love.

Calgary Cycle currently sponsors a Downhill Race series and has one of the largest and most successful DH Development teams in Canada. The Provincial Champions in both Pro and Jr. Pro race for the DH team. Our road team started in 2007 and is moving forward into 2010 with big hopes.
